Pronunciamiento De Las Comunidades De Fe E Iglesias Cristianas Inclusivas Hacia Las Personas LGBTIQA+ Presentes En Costa Rica, A Favor Del Proyecto De Ley 20.970

$0.00

The communities of faith and Christian churches present in Costa Rica that maintain a welcoming and fully inclusive stance towards LGBTIQA+ people (Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals, Trans, Intersex, Queer, Asexuals, and other sex-gender diversities) express our support for Bill 20.970 which prohibits all those practices wrongly called "conversion" or "reparative" therapies, aimed at modifying a person's sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression.

RFF is an international human rights organization situated on the traditional territory first named Tkarónto, the Mohawk word for “the place in the water where the trees are standing.” This land is the traditional territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples and is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples.

We acknowledge that Tkaronto is covered by Treaty 13 signed with the Mississaugas of the Credit, and the Williams Treaties signed with multiple Mississaugas and Chippewa bands.
