Lo Que Aún No Te Han Dicho Sobre la Biblia by Soul Force

$0.00

Ending spiritual violence and systemic oppression is not just about understanding the Bible, but it is a good place to start. Many of us grew up in families, communities, traditions, and cultures where the Bible is of primary importance and gives us basic language to describe how the world is or should be.

As part of our spiritual reclamation work, Soulforce has developed this primer on “What You Haven’t Been Told About the Bible” about the literal and inerrant reading of the Bible—the myth that the Bible consists of the literal and exact words of God without error or need for specialized interpretation.

With this resource from the Soulforce Library of Spiritual Resources, we hope you can gain strategies for approaching and bleeding through the text, increase your knowledge of the biblical text, develop your personal position on biblical inerrancy, feel more prepared for challenging conversations about the Bible and justice, and intensify your passion to combat biblically-based violence.

We acknowledge that Tkaronto is covered by Treaty 13 signed with the Mississaugas of the Credit, and the Williams Treaties signed with multiple Mississaugas and Chippewa bands.
